Abstract Shapes Series | Personal Project

This project in my next instalment in exploration of abstract shapes and materials. Unlike previous works that utilized Cinema 4D, I decided to undertake this project in Unreal Engine. One of my primary motivations was to delve into the latest advancements in realtime rendering and lighting systems offered by Unreal, and I must admit , I was impressed. The render times were incredibly fast, and the level of detail achievable within the scenes exceeded my expectations.

Additionally, I added Megascans assets into this project and found the process to be remarkably easy. The ease with which I could integrate these new assets was impressive. I am definitely going to utilize this workflow in future projects, as it has proven to produce very nice results.

Software used: Unreal Engine 5, Houdini, Megascans, Photoshop
